Particle Content

The particle.dat file provides information on the particles that can be used in the module.

It contains the standard Leptons (electrons, muons, taus and neutrinos) and the user can add additional particles, as desired. For the additional particles to be used in the code, enable the flag use_extra_particles in the configuration file.

The file has the following columns:

• Name: The name of the particle.

• Mass: The mass of the particle in MeV.

• Degeneracy: The degeneracy factor of the particle.

• Lepton number: The lepton number of the particle.

• Electric charge: The charge of the particle in units of the elementary charge (e).
